Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are battling it out for the signature of Napoli’s Italian winger-cum-forward Lorenzo Insigne.
The winger has attracted the interest of the north London rivals with some impressive performances for Napoli this season, having helped the Azzurri to win the Coppa Italia.
The Gunners and Spurs are prepared to pay around €20m for the 22-year-old winger and have proposed doubling his salary, according to Tuttosport.
Napoli might struggle to refuse the financial offer for Insigne from either of the north London clubs, but are prepared to soften the blow by trying to acquire Manchester United’s Shinji Kagawa.
